The fact how ghouls hostility is driven mainly by their hunger, and they can become perfectly reasonable and nice if encountered on some planes other than the prime material (if its closer to the plane they draw power from) has gotta be really unnerving to the adventurers that learn that.
It would be funny if one cosmology had ghouls acting as the npcs keeping the society of the Abyss running while the demons fought eachother.

Thank you. I didn’t even see a notification – I just came across it while I was scrolling through my blog to see if anything was flagged.
I’m honestly pretty upset about this. It’s also wild considering the history of the AIDS epidemic and how the US government censored PSAs about the epidemic to not mention gay men because it might be seen as endorsing “deviant” behavior. I’m not saying that’s why this was flagged, I’m just saying there’s relevant history here.

When people ask what we’re so worried about with the new policy this is the answer.
Stating that a species has no natural predators implies the existence of at least one unnatural predator. I wanna see the species whose sole predator is the fucking Mothman.

In retrospect, the fact that, out of all the characters J K Rowling could have picked to be the only gay wizards in England, she went with Albus “child sacrifice for fun and profit” Dumbledore and Gellert “literally a Nazi” Grindelwald probably should have been a red flag! Like, total lack of substantive follow-through notwithstanding, why is that the first place your mind went?
Probably she’s an X-Men fan and a Charles/Erik shipper, as it’s more or less a very similar relationship. Magneto is not a Nazi, but as much as he hates them, it’s obvious that their ideology had an enormous impact on him as a child, and half the time he’s written as if he’s just basically done a find-and-replace where “Aryan” has been replaced with “mutant”. Grindelwald as presented in the books wasn’t much different. And Charles Xavier sent a team of teenagers into battle routinely.
I mean, I’d probably have included some other gay wizards, but I’d definitely have thought of it.
