I don’t know if there’s a Valhalla for snakes, but now it’s wherever this snake went when it died.

That was not his last act. The snake was coiled up to escape the flames. After the body was hit by fire the heat shrunk the vertibre and nerves pulling it tight and up into what looks like a striking pose but instead is what happens when you super heat and shrink slightly a snake. Just like when you put heat to shrink wrap plastic and it contracts. The jaw fell open once the muscles holding it were gone.

Really guys, snakes are very bendable. There’s only one natural way the body could be in this pose and that’s as stated above.

Do you think the characters killed in heroes in crisis will stay dead?

Of course they won’t. It’ll be a reboot, a resurrection, any number of things. Characters don’t stay dead.

But they’re off the table now. Their deaths have emotional resonance for other characters. And they tell us we’re supposed to mourn for it as if it hasn’t happened before. It’s cheap, it’s dumb, and it’s such a waste. It’s narratively unfulfilling and feels like a betrayal, especially when they tell us something is going to be important and instead it’s “Nah, we just killed them. They don’t matter. Their stories don’t matter. Now feel about it even though they don’t matter.”

Also, I feel it worth mentioning that, there’s a post going around that we don’t have to worry about Article 13, but I feel I must add, the info on that post is from October, and the link above is from just a few days ago and; long story short; things got worse again.

And it disquiets me that “moderates” try to silence us on the left from protesting establishment dickery by connecting those protests to the right-wing (See also: That bullshit “Bernie Bros” thing), but that’s for another discussion…

So the English track on the Netflix Evangelion release is apparently going to be a new dub. Normally, I’d be excited about the proposition of a new dub of the TV show, with some of the core ADV cast reprising their roles like the Rebuild movies, but allegedly nobody from the original English cast of Eva is being involved, which comes off as a huge middle finger IMO. So now I’m apathetic with shades of bitterness, but at the very least I’ll have more fuel for comparison videos.
