So I heard some of y’all think Nautica is Pipes’ dream bot,… bUT!!  MY CHARTS CLEARLY DISAGREE!! As you can see in the 3rd column, an even better candidate exists in the Transformers universe… whom I will reveal shortly (lmao get it?… you’ll get it in a sec..)

And, as shown, Nautica doesn’t even satisfy more than half of Pipes’ aesthetic criteria, let alone the chemistry.

SO WHO IS THIS DEBONAIR MYSTERY MECH RANKING IN AT 0.78 ON THE PIPES SOULMATE SCALE???

?

I POSIT

TO

Hey so with a teensy little peek into Yurgiri’s profession (specifically her introducing herself at the restaurant that Kotarou was at) she announced herself as an “Oiran” (花魁) which is different from a geisha (芸者). Geisha and oiran are similar in profession as female entertainers (completely different from prostitutes), but the oiran sort of died out as the geisha became more prominent during the Meiji Era. If you want to learn more about the differences between geisha and oiran, and also want to see a modern day reenactment of an oiran dochu (courtesan parade), watch this video!

It’s not extremely in depth about the oiran culture, but it still covers a nice chunk of information! I think it’s interesting that Yugiri was both trained as an oiran but also had some geisha training as well! I think it’d be cool if Yugiri did the oiran soto hachi moji walk at some point but I guess that could be asking too much with only 2 eps to go lol

zlsconfessions:

I’m a bigger fan of Ep. 4 than is probably necessary. Ai spends much of the episode just going along with the girls in the city sighing until Sakura offhandedly says they do need to train, at which Ai publicly smiles (off-stage) for the first time, prompting “WHOA” from everyone. She wanted to be rehearsing but didn’t want to take the rare chance to live a little from them. Sakura reaffirms her dedication & Ai smiles again. In fact, until recently, only Sakura could ever make it happen. Shiiiip.

staff You are recommending that I follow a nazi blog I blocked last night. Your site promotes anti-semitism to Jews. Your site shoves Nazi Swastikas in the faces of Jews. It’s bad enough that the Nazi blogs seem to be sprouting up like weeds on a site that claims to have an anti-hate policy, but to actively promote them to people who have taken the steps of blocking these blogs is beyond the pale. Clean this place up. It’s turning into Stormfront.

I encourage everyone who sees this post, Jewish or otherwise, to reblog it. Tumblr has been ignoring the growth of Nazism on this site for too long. It needs to end.

Imp’s redesign and Hordaks powers

image

Not sure if Imp will have shapeshifting powers this continuity

But if so they will almost definitely be nerfed from “being able to turn into a working flamethrower with unlmited fuel”

Or stuff like this

image

Yeah, octopus style shapeshifting might work  better for the tone of the new show.

While the old imp is a clear medieval demon, the new one calls to mind a  what would happen if D&D artists made a counter part to the Renaissance portrayal of cherubs .

If Hordak does have some specialized magic knowledge in the new continuity, I would not be surprised if Imp is his familiar. Considering his master in the old series seemed a horrific mostly offscreen mix of magic and cybernetics, and his ability to shapeshift into machines I would think technomancer.
