Imp’s redesign and Hordaks powers

image

Not sure if Imp will have shapeshifting powers this continuity

But if so they will almost definitely be nerfed from “being able to turn into a working flamethrower with unlmited fuel”

Or stuff like this

Yeah, octopus style shapeshifting might work  better for the tone of the new show.

While the old imp is a clear medieval demon, the new one calls to mind a  what would happen if D&D artists made a counter part to the Renaissance portrayal of cherubs .

If Hordak does have some specialized magic knowledge in the new continuity, I would not be surprised if Imp is his familiar. Considering his master in the old series seemed a horrific mostly offscreen mix of magic and cybernetics, and his ability to shapeshift into machines I would think technomancer.

Some characters from She-Ra, princess of power, 1985.

I really want She-Ra accidentally transforming animals to continued to be a running gag.

Let her transform a lion into Clawdeen who ends up with Catra.

Make Arrow a part of Swiftwinds rebellion and give him limited shapeshifting powers as a joke of how his appearance was inconsistent. (He can only look like different horses.

And make Enchanta , well not mean, but highlight the reason she’s not agressive as normal swans is she’s overconfident and thinks she can take anyone in a fight so lets others make the first move. Bonus points if she was an infamously agressive swan and keeps apologizing to people she recognizes in a speech similar to Gideon Grey’s in Zootopia.

An angsty Adora & Shadow Weaver idea in five parts

Or, i tie a bunch of stuff together bc i like to feel pain sometimes even and especially when the thing causing me pain almost certainly isn’t canon, yay!

Point One – Exploring Shadow Weaver’s room as kids

Catra is curious

Running around, getting a good look at the Black Garnet, poking at it. This room is fascinating to her and even after getting zapped by the Garnet she just stands there sucking on the finger, doesn’t hunch down or look particularly worried

The one who says that maybe they should leave? Is stammering as she says it?

And Adora is scared

Someone mentioned a theory like this to me the other day, and this is a really good breakdown of that theory. I really hope they’re gonna go somewhere with this.

perfuma is so funny because she tries to be peaceful and aesthetic but i bet she had an angry goth phase

Fun tags game: What do you think Perfuma’s edgy phase name was?

I’m going with Belladonna

Nightshade. And she had an imaginary werewolf boyfriend.

After she broke up with her imaginary boyfriend, she was Wolfsbane

Fun fact: Tomatos had trouble catching on in Europe because people could tell from a glance the plants were related to nightshade

I kinda want Scorpia to have a little sister

Who’s basically the old Filmation Scorpia as a child, complete with the inexplicable Boston accent.

An angry little non-tactile child who’s upset with everyone pinching her cheeks and considering her failed attempts to sting them in response adorable.

It would be interesting if she actually helps the rebels out of a jam, not because they are nice to her, like in most similar plots, but because they treat here with respect and don’t belittle her.

So yeah, Scorpia and her sister both have trouble making friends from completely different directions, and it actually keeps themselves from understanding eachother.
