Holy Shit I Actually got why the Other Kingdoms didn’t like Scorpia’s Family.

It’s because they were too nice of a neighbor.

LOOK AT SCORPIA, She’s a princess from a desolate, hellish kingdom, whose runestone is tied to dark and evil powers, and who is a SCORPION, a animal usually associated with duplicitousness, trickery and evil, yet here she is, liking cats and grand balls and other standard Disney princess shit and wanting to have friends because no one ever really wanted to be her friend before and all that.

OF COURSE the other kingdoms didn’t like them, they either got tired of them being far too nice neighbors to them, Some kind of weird Dinkleberg situation, or they thought their nice nature was actually just a ruse to lull them into a nice sense of security before stinging them in the middle of a lake.

THEM BEING TOO NICE FOR THEIR OWN GOOD IS OUTRIGHT PROVEN BY THE NARRATIVE, because, once a ship containing a evil overlord and his dark army ended up crashing in their kingdom, they did the most neighborly thing they could think of, and gave him the throne and the runestone to help him out in his moment of need, because that’s what a good neighbor does.

Now this is a headcanon and a half! 😂
