Ideas for new dynamics of evil warriors

Just sptiballing here.

Scare Glow written to basically Plumeria from Team Skull as a light based ghost. Gets angry when people associate dark with evil and light with good. “I’m an undead light based being and I’m one of the nastiest guys around.”

Mer-Man is basically unconcerned with surface world, but helps out Skeletor because he considers him a friend.

Jitsu is actually a former marital artist actor from Earth who’s having the time of his life and adapted surprisingly well. (Alot of member of Skeletors gang is a mutant or from another planet, I’ve not)

Skeletor is not officially the leader, though he likes to think he is.

He-Man reboot episode idea

Beastman is called out for his cat-hoarding problem by Skeletor. They are making a nuisance of themselves by getting into places they aren’t supposed to (and knocking dangerous vials over).,

Skeletor gives him a list of which well-behaved cats he can keep, (surpsising Beastman that Skeletor knows them all) and told to get rid of the rest.

Beast Man must then spend the rest of the episode finding homes for the kitties, eventually colliding with the main problem of the heros in a happy ending.

The more I toss around a theoretical reboot of  He-Man in my mind, the more it turns into basically Season 2 of Tabaluga with cthulhu and swords.

Complete with bad guys swapping between the various factions.

Also: new idea. Skeletor is the only one who doesn’t realize Prince Adam and He-man are the same.

I just really like the idea of Prince Adam actually going to a diplomatic meeting and Skeletor is there representing his own faction.

How I hope Evil-Lyn and Skeletor’s relationship goes in a reboot

“One, day you will slip up Skeletor, and all your secrets and power will be mine!”

Later

*Evil-Lyn holding up a defilibriator while an unconcious Skeletor lies on the ground*

“Don’t you dare die on me, old man!”

As competent as Evil-Lyn was, lets face it that like most of the group she was basically someone who never moved out of the “intentionally dissapoint my parents” phase.

Evil-Lyn as a platonic tsundere contractor in a reboot

I love the sort of evil family vibe Skeletor’s group has, and I would want to preserve that in a reboot.

But how do you do that and still make Evil-lyn awesome?

A disconnect between the brain and the heart.

In the old cartoon, Evil-Lyn says she plots to steal Skeletors power in the old show…but we see them holding hands .

Heck, she once even ends an attempt to steal from someone in the old show after they save her life; telling Skeletor to do the work and steal it himself it for himself wants it so badly.

Evil-Lyn for all her badassery, is like the rest of Skeletors gang is basically just another childish adult trying to act cool.

We honestly should have figured she was overcompensating from her chosen name.

Still, she is also the most independent of the lot. She seems to be a magic user for hire among all the villains of the show, regardless of faction. But from what information I can find, in the old work she still never explicitly moves against Skeletor even if she offers services to his competitors.

It would be an interesting contrast to the two-faced Shadow Weaver in the She-Ra reboot . Evil-Lyn proclaims disloyalty but if put in charge of killing Skeletor… would she hesitate?
