Or, i tie a bunch of stuff together bc i like to feel pain sometimes even and especially when the thing causing me pain almost certainly isn’t canon, yay!

Point One – Exploring Shadow Weaver’s room as kids

Catra is curious

Running around, getting a good look at the Black Garnet, poking at it. This room is fascinating to her and even after getting zapped by the Garnet she just stands there sucking on the finger, doesn’t hunch down or look particularly worried

The one who says that maybe they should leave? Is stammering as she says it?

Adora

And Adora is scared

Someone mentioned a theory like this to me the other day, and this is a really good breakdown of that theory. I really hope they’re gonna go somewhere with this.

She-Ra & Hordak

buffshe-ra:

In the original show, Hordak mentored Skeletor and they worked together to try and conquer Eternia. Skeletor ended up betraying Hordak by trapping him within another dimension. Hordak isn’t some lone dictator. He operates under the rule of Horde Prime, the supreme ruler of the intergalactic Horde Empire.  They conquer in his name and I think Hordak was delivered right to the missing planet, Etheria.

Mara stranded Etheria within the dark dimension of Despandos. It’s a reference from the 2002 He-Man and used for banishment.  I don’t think Mara was struggling with her powers or letting go, I think she took risk to hide Etheria from Horde Prime, who may have began his universal conquering 1000 years ago. I don’t think her intent was to end She-Ra, but she struggled with the power alone and lost the sword.

If Hordak was banished, we could have reason to believe it was the same dimension Mara stranded Etheria. There’s no defender here like He-Man on Eternia either. It’s almost free to him. Except, Hordak still needs to return.

Hordak appears disinterested in Adora, tells Shadow Weaver she’s nothing, and to leave off retrieval. If Hordak or Shadow Weaver kidnapped Adora, then they know her origins are on Eternia. They may know the twins, Adam and Adora were destined to take up the respective mantels of He-Man and She-Ra. Although, with no Etheria, Adora would be without a runestone. They brought her right to where Adora needed to be.

If Hordak finishes Castle Bright Moon, he has all of Etheria and the power of magical runestones at his disposal. He is very interested in Entrapta’s work and encourages more experiments with the First Ones and their tech.

The legendary warrior She-Ra was raised by Shadow Weaver to be loyal to the Horde. He won’t make a mistake like Mara. Hordak wants She-Ra to grow, to learn. He doesn’t need her at the start, he needs her to become She-Ra. He needs her strong. Adora’s loyalties have died because of Glimmer and Bow, but Adora has an attachment. Her connection in Catra. Interestingly, something Light Hope wanted Adora to remove. Something she stated Adora must give up on.

Look at the way Hordak has taken Catra under, made her second in command. Why prosper a ward Shadow Weaver wrote off? He needs her. If that connection stays, Hordak can use that to control She-Ra/Adora. What lengths is Adora willing to go to save Catra? If Hordak gains control over her, he could bring his conquered planet back to the sister planet of Eternia, like how Mara moved it away. He could have both planets in Horde Prime’s name.

Shadow weaver “finding Adora” seems a little fishy too me

Yeah no. There is no way in fuckery that that ugly ass bitch shadoweaver “found Adora as an orphan child” 20 bucks says that she either

  • -killed her parents

Or

  • -kidnapped her

From the montage of images in the pilot, I’m thinking Superman style space-baby in a capsule
