one of my favorite things about the pokemon universe is how the humans are esp. the bad guys

I have my own theory that humans in the Pokemon world don’t even have a concept of direct violence. They settle all disputes through Pokemon battles, but also a human without pokemon is entirely helpless. This might lend its self further to the notion that humans can’t venture outside of towns without bringing trained pokemon to protect them. Like, can Pokemon world humans even throw a punch? I think the notion of humans ever directly using violence against one another without pokemon involved is something they can’t even think of.

Let’s think about this for a moment.
Mob Boss Giovanni probably has a gun. Given the level of technological development in pokemon’s universe it’s very unlikely that nobody invented gunpowder or ever thought to put it together into a weapon, or that Giovanni would procure one.
Let’s also assume the average ten-year-old bright-eyed pokemon trainer is not wearing a bulletproof vest, or has particularly impressive gun dodging abilities.
Giovanni shoots child, Giovanni probably dies immediately.
pokemon is great. i just went on a luxury cruise ship for free, went in to a rich guy’s personal cabin, kicked his dog’s ass with my giant water dragon, and then i made him give me money.
While Miltank could be only female, I’d make it so Tauros could be male or female in the wild.
Miltank would be a potential phenotype bred into the population by humans. Like aurochs the orginal wild tauros would haveextinct, and were replaced by feral tauros with the potential to give birth to miltank in the right environmental conditions.
This would also work with how miltank looks like a dog in a cow suit; a sort of joke on how domesticated mammals develop similar traits and the “all animals are dogs” joke.
To get a female tauros from breeding you’d need an incense though; miltank appear in captivity when breeding for females otherwise.
Ash doesn’t care if they evolve or not however he cares about what his Pokemon wants. Pikachu was explicit in the episode against the very first third gym about not wanting to evolve. Rowlett here doesn’t know what this stone does, the birb just want to learn Bullet Seed. Ash doesn’t know if rowlett wants to stay a cute orb or wants to evolve, so letting him take an everyone is kinda forcing the Pokemon to NOT evolve
