Dark Samus character quirk

First, the infamous eye-hand scene

But in Echoes its either scarred over or perhaps even has its own little tiny visor.

But her final form, where she’s absorbed enough power her outer armor has burned away, the eye is shown to be still under there.

Anyway, a friend of mine noticed in  Super Smash Bros Ultimate she holds her hand close to herself a lot of time.

So I can’t help but think she hurt her eye alot by accident and it affected her muscle memory.

(Dark Samus keeps ending up more and more adorable the more I examine her and  like the Biolizard in Sonic Adventure 2

I kinda wish

she got a different character arc/role. Ah well,  it was the days before things like Venom where fandom embraced monster characters.)

Popstar could technically actually be a planet

The International Astronomical Union defined a planet as an object that:

  • orbits the sun
  • has sufficient mass to be round, or nearly round
  • is not a satellite (moon) of another object
  • has removed debris and small objects from the area around its orbit

Popstar has enough mass to be round, it just doesn’t want to.

Aether  from Metroid Prime 2 is technically not a planet, as it has no sun.

MP2: Aether

Somehow it took me way too long to realize Aether wildlife all developed from lifeforms imported from other planets (or possibly given as “planet-warming” gifts by allies of the Luminoth)

Remember, Aether has no Sun, its day/night cycle is artificial and done by channeling the strange energy unique to the planet. It was probably completely sterile before the Luminoth came.

In a way, the Ing might argue they are the first true natives of the planet.
