China is putting Uyghur Muslims into Concentration Camps

This is one of the greatest attrocities and oppression taking place in the world today yet still it is one of the least talked about issues. It’s estimated possibly over 2 million Uyghur Muslims have been put into these concentration camps which China calls “re-edcuation camps” and the goals is to wipe out and clean them from their cultural and religious identity. They have built dozens of these camps with fortified walls and barbed wire fences which they hide from the world media.

China sees Islam as an ‘ideological disease’. Many of the people put in these camps don’t make it out alive due to to the harsh living conditions inside. Many leave behind children who are then sent to government run orphanages and are brainwashed from a young age removing their cultural and religious identity.

Uyghur Muslims can be arrested and put in these camps for the smallest of reasons and every step they take is monitored by the authorities. Facial recognition cameras and high tech equipment has been deployed in East Turkestan turning it into a complete surveillance state. This isn’t fantasy or ‘fake news’. This is happening now in East Turkestan. Don’t let history repeat itself. Share and let the world know the truth.

Whenever China commits an atrocity, governments always sit on their hands, worried about the economic power that it has, how it can ruin them economically. They fear it, and with its growing influence in the world stage China is finding more and more freedom to commit acts like this, violate human rights and do so proudly. But this time they have been caught red handed, with their hands chocking the lives out of innocents. They wont get away with it this time.

They try their damndest to keep it secret, but the freedom to speak openly abut topics is a powerful foe to any oppressive regime, and even now their dirty acts are being brought out. The world needs to know about the camps, because for now they are just internment and reeducation camps. But how long until they become Death Camps? China has already shown historically it is not afraid to crush its people beneath tanks during a protest. How long until they begin targeting other minorities in their country? They would then target political dissidents (Oh wait, they already do that), sexual deviants, those with disabilities, and anyone who so much as sneezes wrong or doesn’t act lie a puppet for the ruling party.How long until China becomes something that we have already seen before?

We can’t change the past, but we have a chance to stop this before it becomes worse, before it expands like a cancer that can take the lives of so many.

It doesn’t matter who suffers in this world, whether they be White, Black, Asian, 
Arab, Christian, Muslim, Jew, Atheist. All people deserve the same rights and protections. Because we are all human, and at the end of the day our heart stops all the same, and we rejoin the earth. Allowing any one person to be treated as less than human, and abused only sets up a precedent that governments will use until everyone has a slave collar on their neck. It is our job to keep them honest and keep governments in check.

As an American Christian, halfway around the world, I know that I am very separate from the plight of the Uyghur, some would even say that as both of those things I shouldn’t care at all about them or should hold a grudge, but that is all the more reason why I should speak out. To show that humanity is united, despite our differences, against atrocities, and against evil. And what China is doing there, is Evil in one of its purest forms.
