Wait, Prince Adam and Adora weren’t minors in the original  tv-show?

I mean, I assumed they were adults in the comic adaptations. But I figured in the tv show there was a weird disrepency between the ages decided on by the writers and the existing toy models.

(This isn’t a discourse thing. I just somehow apparently assumed the shows were even sillier than they were.)

edit: huh. Classic She-Ra had a birthday episode wher she turned 21. Okay then.

So I’ve been thinking a lot about Bow’s dads and how I hope we meet them next season. At the time of me posting this, we have no idea who his dads are or what they’re like so all we can do is speculate. Personally, I’d like to see them as an interracial couple.

And when I say interracial, I very much mean by Etherian standards.

Make one of them an elf. Or one of those minotaur-like people we’ve seen in the background. Or a lizardman.

Don’t be cowards, showrunners. Give Bow a pair of fantasy interracial dads!

I wonder if they’re now homeless after that bigs storm in the finale. Its implied Bow grew up around the forest.

THE TREEZOR by Terryl Whitlatch.

This is Whitlatch’s take on a classical mythical creature: The Griffin.

In 1993, folklorist and historian of science Adrienne Mayor of Stanford University suggested that the discovery of protoceratops fossils in the Tian Shan and Altai Mountains of Central Asia by ancient Scythian nomads, who mined for gold there, may have inspired the mythical griffin.

Mayor later expanded upon her thesis in her book The First Fossil Hunters (Princeton University Press, 2001); the 2011 reissue of which even features a winged protoceratops skeleton on the cover. Since then Mayor’s contention has largely been accepted as fact by the paleontological community despite some glaring holes in her theory as recently pointed out by paleoartist Mark Witton.

Nevertheless, Mayor’s ideas about the origin of one of the most iconic mythical creatures has clearly influenced Whitlatch whose Treezor is
essentially a re-imagining of the griffin as a protoceratops with feathers and cat-like paws.

PLEASE HELP US!!!!!! REBLOG THIS!!!!

FINALLY SOMETHING ABOUT BRAZIL’S SITUATION ON MY DASHBOARD

WE’RE LIVING A REVOLUTION! WE’VE BEEN IN AN ALMOST CIVIL WAR STATE FOR TWO WEEKS! WHAT THE HELL, FOREIGNERS? TALK ABOUT US!

The lack of an effective timestamp function on Tumblr posts means that people frequently, with good intentions, reblog posts as current events which are years out of date.  This is a good example.  In this case the reblogging is happening because people outside of Brazil don’t know what is going on in Brazil but feel guilty when they read a post like this so they quickly hit reblog to try to make it right.  I make this mistake myself with all sorts of things but in this case it struck me as odd so I went and checked up.

Not that there isn’t stuff going on in Brazil that deserves more awareness and concern!  For example, this month (December 2018), the far-right president-elect Jair Bolsonaro has announced a plan to “abolish the country’s human rights ministry and has named a conservative evangelical pastor to run a newly created ministry which will oversee women, family and human rights – and also the country’s 900,000 indigenous people.”  Source – The Guardian

Queen Angella: Bow, why is the prisoner in the kitchen?

Bow: She offered to make breakfast.

*Enter Scorpia, only mildly hindered by the ball and chain attatched to her leg.*

Scorpia: I hope everyone likes pancakes! Oh man, I haven’t had a chance to cook in a fully stocked kitchen in years!.
