imagine being a han/leia shipper in 1983 and you’ve spent three years hearing from the luke/leia shippers how there’s no chance of han/leia happening because han’s probably dead now and besides the empire strikes back literally ended with luke and leia holding each other and staring into deep space so like obviously you’re an idiot for shipping han/leia and you need to get with the winning team… and then imagine going into that movie… and walking out of that movie… imagine that level of schadenfreude and personal satisfaction

I still don’t get why the kid with dreads decided to butt in on Catra and Adora’s sparring match like Catra wasn’t even fighting dirty like she said so why come to Adora’s rescue? Do people in this universe just have prejudice against those with animal features or something? Is this racism? What’s goin on bih

Its probably because Catra is unpopular due to her slacker ways and Shadow Weaver making clear she is an acceptable target. Kids given the go-ahead to bully by an authority figure are vicious.

Catra doesn’t even seem like that much of a slacker tho so saying that feels a bit like a cop out. She’s on the same level as adora when it comes to combat and it’s probably been like that since they were kids

No I mean like how she semi-canonically (according to a Netflix online answer column) cheats on the written parts of her education. She slacks off in  non-combat parts aspects, even skipping Force Captain Orientation. That’s going to rub people wrong. The fact she doesn’t follow the rules and do things “the right way” like when she shows up in training without a score-tracking vest in the episode premier is also probably grating to the more conformist members.

I just freaking realized why Shadow Weaver kept Adora “in the dark”

Its so she could turn Adora into an accomplice for overthrowing Hordak from the inside “for the greater good.”

She probably had a whole planned speech for when Adora got back from her first mission about. “Someone fed the wrong intel. We must root out this corruption Adora. No matter how high up it goes”

Everything makes sense when you think of it being Shadow Weaver being too clever by half.
